 The GMC would never call patients to update their medical record or ask patients about their Covid vaccination. Please do not pick up calls or share personal details from this number +44 7897 074386 – it is a scam

Maternity Referrals

If you have a positive pregnancy test you can refer yourself to a hospital of your choice for your maternity care. Basildon Hospital, Broomfield Hospital or Queens Hospital.

BASILDON HOSPITAL

Mums-to-be no longer need to visit a GP – you can just refer yourself online. If you are a mum-to-be and you have a positive pregnancy test and you wish to have your baby under the care of Basildon Hospital Maternity Services, you can contact the maternity team directly by completing the antenatal self-referral form without the need to see a GP first.

Go to: http://basildonandthurrock.nhs.uk

Click on 'SERVICES'.  Arrow down and click on MATERNITY SERVICES.  You will then find the Antenatal Self-Referral Form for you to complete and submit to the hospital.

A qualified midwife will contact them by telephone within seven days following receipt to discuss the next step.

Anyone experiencing problems with the submission of their referral form, should email maternity@btuh.nhs.uk

BROOMFIELD HOSPITAL

You can now contact your Midwife directly by telephoning 01245 513040 (answerphone available), or go to the following link Maternity Services put your answers to the questions on the email and send to the midwives, they will contact you to arrange your booking. Anyone experiencing problems with getting through on the phone or with the submission of their referral form, should email chelmsfordmidwives@meht.nhs.uk

QUEENS HOSPITAL
