The Tile House Surgery is an accredited training practice for GP registrars from the East of England Deanery.
These are fully qualified doctors who are in their final year of training to become a General Practitioner, they normally spend a year in General Practice.
We also train medical students from Anglia Ruskin University and Queen Mary University at various times during the year. During this time the Doctors will have medical students with them in surgery, if you do not wish them to be present during a consultation please let reception or the GP know.
Nurses
Our practice nurses undertake a variety of nursing duties, they offer travel vaccinations , run diabetic, cervical smear, flu, hypertension and other specialist clinics, carry out wound dressings, suture removals, Spirometry, and act as a chaperone if required.
Healthcare Assistants
Practice Management
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
